Notice of Sub-Processor Changes

Published: 23 October 2026  |  Changes effective: 23 November 2026
This notice is provided at least 30 days before the intended changes take effect, under clause 5.4 of the Home Watch IT Data Processing Agreement.

Home Watch IT, LLC (HWIT) is updating its approved Sub-Processor list. The changes consolidate PDF generation, short-link services and customer support with an EEA provider and document an existing data-synchronisation provider.

Changes taking effect 23 November 2026

ChangeProvider and processing
Replacement of PDFShift and Short.io Šori rešitve, Daniel Arthur Hawton, s.p. (Slovenia) will operate PDF generation and short-link/redirect services on Hetzner VPS infrastructure located in Falkenstein and Nuremberg, Germany. PDF inputs and outputs—which may contain customer records, reports, invoices and photographs—are processed transiently and are not retained. Destination URL mappings and aggregate click counts are retained until the link is deleted or the Customer's account terminates.
Customer support consolidated under the same legal provider Šori rešitve, Daniel Arthur Hawton, s.p. will also provide customer support under HWIT's instructions. Production Customer Data may be accessed only when necessary to resolve assigned support requests, using individually assigned, least-privilege access. The provider has no unrestricted administrative access.
Existing provider formally added to the published list Journey Mobile, Inc. (PowerSync) (United States) synchronises application data between HWIT's Supabase database and authorised user devices. This records an existing service and does not introduce a new processing activity.

Locations and safeguards

The Šori rešitve services described above are operated in Slovenia and Germany, within the European Economic Area. PowerSync processing is in the United States and is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and the applicable UK Addendum. AWS and Supabase remain separately identified on HWIT's approved Sub-Processor list.

Updated documents

The changes are reflected in version 1.3 of the Data Processing Agreement, version 1.3 of the Master Services Agreement, and version 1.2 of the Privacy Policy. Each was published on 23 October 2026 with an effective date of 23 November 2026. Prior versions remain available in the legal archive.
